About Torquay Hostel

Torquay Hostel is situated close to London's Bayswater area and many shops, cafes, bars and clubs. The hostel is also within walking distance of famous Notting Hill and Portobello Road where you will find antique and souvenir shops. Hop on a bus or stroll to Kensington, Little Venice, Hyde Park and Paddington which are also nearby.
We offer rooms such as 2 bed private and dorms of up to 6 beds. Some rooms include fridges and cookers and are en-suite. You can loan pots and pans from reception and return them after use. The London Hostels Association took over the hostel and has recently been refurbished.
You can chill out in our study or watch some TV on our big screen in the TV area. We also provide an internet cafe at £1 per hour to help you keep in touch with friends and family.

In the event of cancellation less than 24hrs prior to arrival or in the event of non arrival we will retain one night's fee

Note: Check out is 10.30am and Check in is from 14.00hrs. CHECK IN BY 12 MIDNIGHT or phone 020 7289 5420 to make alternative arrangements. ALL guests must provide a valid form of photo ID on check in or the booking will not be honored. TERMS AND CONDITIONS: 1. Please note that if you book for more than 1 person you are not guaranteed to share the same room - that depends on availability. 2. All bookings are allocated in order of receipt by Torquay Hostel. You book a bed not a room 3. We do not allocate single rooms where 1 bed is shown this is 1 bed available in a dorm not a 1 bed dorm. Torquay Hostel has no single rooms. TORQUAY HOUSE IS A NO SMOKING HOSTEL - WE HAVE A SMOKING AREA AT THE REAR OF THE BUILDING. Should you smoke in the building you will be asked to leave and will lose your deposit. ***All non UK citizens are legally required to produce a passport or id card at check-in.***

Value for money accommodation in Zone 1 ... safe and goof for work-oriented short term stays. Quite boring for living in all day (for lazy holidays). Staff is good and the security is excellent. :) Ajit Pratap, from India ~ 15th Sep 2011
