Aberlady Bay, only a five minute walk away, is Britain’s oldest Nature Reserve and the whole area is renowned for its bird watching. Indeed, just a short distance from the Hotel is North Berwick, offering plenty of opportunities for boat trips as well as being home to the Scottish Sea Bird Centre. The National Museum of Flight is just 7 miles away and features one of only 8 surviving Concorde aircraft. The Hotel is also the perfect base from which to explore Edinburgh, the inspiring capital of Scotland. An historic, cosmopolitan and cultured city it offers a diverse range of museums, galleries, theatres and other world-class attractions including Edinburgh Castle one of Scotland’s most iconic buildings.

Travelling via the M8, take the city of Edinburgh By Pass (A720) before taking the A1 south exit at Bankton Junction following signs to North Berwick. Travelling on the A198, pass through Longniddry and then head left on Lyars Road towards Aberlady. Remaining on the A198, the Hotel is located on Main Street on the right hand side of the road.
