This majestic Georgian estate was originally owned by the late Eddie 'Rochester' Anderson, an American comedian and actor who has appeared in over sixty motion pictures, including 1939's Gone with the Wind, among many others. His most famous role was Rochester van Jones, usually known simply as 'Rochester', the valet of Jack Benny, on his radio show The Jack Benny Program. He became the first African American to have a regular role on a nationwide radio program and continued in the role as the series moved to television. His incredible career has earned him a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Anderson was a great connoisseur of life - from training his winning race horses to creating lucrative real estate investments; he truly had the Midas touch to transform business ventures into unprecedented successes. Today, the estate is owned and managed by his family, who continue to follow in Eddie 'Rochester' Anderson's monumental footsteps of greatness and welcoming people from all over the world with unparalleled hospitality.
With an arresting façade of grandeur along with its epic proportions that will stop you in your tracks, the elegantly furnished estate boasts seven bedrooms (with three master suites) and 4.5 bathrooms. Even in the dark hours of night, this estate slumbers in radiance while its grandiose chandeliers adorn its ceilings creating exorbitantly lit rooms which include a living room as sumptuous as a king’s throne room, a dining room with Rococo charm, two generously equipped kitchens, a solarium with a small library, and a Rumpus Room (with indoor fireplace and a bar area) with a panoramic view of the grounds and swimming pool.
Our generous accommodations include Wi-Fi & cable along with breakfast, daily housekeeping, and an attentive staff always available for your assistance. In our efforts to provide you with a fulfilling stay, we offer additional services such as catering, car and chauffeur, concierge, etc.

Our main office hours are from 9AM to 5PM, but we typically carry out check-Ins between 2PM and midnight (you must alert staff if you will be arriving after 5PM). Guests are required to email us regarding midnight or later check-ins, for which you will be charged a $25 cash late fee. You are welcome to check-in before 2PM, but the room may not be fully prepared.
We may transfer you from the airport during these times depending on availability of staff. You will be charged $30 to $40 one-way depending on the time of your arrival.
Upon payments at the office for your stay we CANNOT accept cash, checks, travelers’ checks or any sort of foreign currency. Your debit or credit card will be charged with no additional fee, and we also accept money orders.
WE DO NOT OFFER REFUNDS. Cancellations must be done by phone or by email or you will be charged for your first night.

Cancellation PolicyThis property has a 1 day cancellation policy. Failure to cancel within this time will result in a cancellation charge equal to the first night of your stay.

Guests must reserve a minimum of 3 nights and may stay up to a maximum of 28 nights.
Check-in: 3pm & Check-out: 9am
Please inform Hostel if checking in after 10pm as our office closes at 11pm. We are able to do 24-hour check-ins but a $15 late check-in fee will be imposed after 11pm. This small amount is for our volunteers and working travelers mending the office.
Non-Refundable Cancellation Policy: All changes, cancellations, and requests to the reservation must be made 24 hours prior to the check-in date/time (3pm local time daily).
Any cancellation within 24 hours of check-in time will not be accepted.
A one-time cleaning fee of $15 per guest per stay and occupancy tax of 14.5% per booking is applicable.
Payment is due upon arrival by cash, credit card, debit card. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Amex or Discover.
All guests must show matching valid I.D. to their debit/credit card used during payment at time of arrival.
