Set within the ancient Roman boundaries of Lucca, the newly renovated Guesthouse LuccaCharm couldn't be more centrally located. Just steps away from most of the attractions that people come to Lucca to see and within a short walk to everything else. It is truly in the heart of this little city. Just off Piazza San Michele with its beautiful church, LuccaCharm at number 14 Via Roma is itself an antique. Very nice and comfortable bedrooms, decorated in a distinctly Lucca Liberty style, with original floors and huge windows that fill the rooms with natural light. High ceilings add to the romantic atmosphere. It's a very independent set up. No curfews, you will use your own keys, do as you wish. By train:
Cross the railway station square and turn to the left, on the large avenue 'Viale Regina Margherita', around the Walls. Walk for about 200 mts and enter the town through the gate "Porta S.Pietro" ; then walk straight ahead for Via Carrara, Via S.Girolamo and you'll arrive in Piazza Napoleone.
Cross the square straight-ahead and keep following Via Beccheria, then turn right and you'll be in Via Roma. After 10 meters, on the right side of the street, you will find 'Lucca Charm' at number 14,
By car:
If you arrive by car you can leave it on the nearest public park, in Via Elisa. Then you have to walk for about 300 meters in the direction of the centre as the property is located in a pedestrian area reachable only on foot. To arrive in Via Elisa, after the Motorway exit at Lucca follow the signs for the centre and the railway station (Stazione); from here, with the town walls on your left, take the road around the walls and after the first bend, turn on the left and enter Lucca through the white town gate called 'Porta Elisa'; take Via Elisa and you will find a park on the blue lines, on the right-hand side. Then walk for about 300 meters straight-ahead in the direction of the centre and you will arrive in Via Roma (the same street changes names three times: Via Elisa, Via Santa Croce and Via Roma).
By plane:
Pisa airport is linked to Lucca by railway line. Choose the direction Lucca-Pistoia. It is also possible to take a taxi or rent a car from the airport. In this case, follow the green signs for the motorway and follow the directions for Lucca.
