Hostel Vista Serena is the first hostel in Manuel Antonio designed for young people. We are recommended by the Lonely Planet guide and the Hostelling International. Set on a mountain, surrounded by jungle, with awesome views of the Pacific Ocean, the hostel is the perfect place to experience the peace of paradise and the thrill of local attractions.

Our hostel is specially designed for foreign visitors. You get the rainforest and Costa Rica's most beautiful beach, and still have all of the comforts of home.

We run a small, secluded hostel, and offer personalized services to our guests. Our goal is to cater to the individual - with a little Costa Rican touch!

Prices are per person per night.

There are many ways to get to Manuel Antonio. The most common is by car or by bus. If you go by public bus you will need to go to the Tracopa bus station which is about 30 minutes from the airport. You will want to take a "directo" bus NOT the colectivo because you want to go all the way to Manuel Antonio (get off at LA PLAZA - tell the driver) and the colectivo busses only go as far as Quepos which is 3km away. The cost is about $9 and takes just over 3 hours to Manuel Antonio. Schedules vary, so it's best to inquire with the bus company but generally they run about every hour and a half.. There are also shuttles you can get directly from the airport to the hostel. You can look up either Interbus or EasyRide for two reliable companies that we often work with. The option by air is also available, since the local airline SANSA offers regular flights there and again you can find more information online.
