The best view of Mazunte beach and the Pacific Coast. This beautiful property is located on top of a hill overlooking Mazunte on Camino a Punta Cometa. Great place to relax and get away from it all.

Our property features basic but nice looking cabanas with very simple beds and mosquito nets as well as camping space, communal clean baths and showers, a comedor (to each overlooking the ocean), and is run by an alternative minded laid-back emiliano who will show Mazunte and beaches around there in addition to the more delciosos cooking homemade dishes suitable for vegetarians and all guests
count with a Temaxcal (prehispanico traditional sauna) and therapeutic massage perfect for stop travel and good for fatigue, the stress of daily life an experience holistic

that is becoming increasingly involved in eco-tourism and You can take a boat ride through the mangroves or along the coast where you can see the local wildlife including lots of turtles, dolphins and in season whales. You can also visit the Turtle Museum or take a sunset walk to the famous Punta Cometa which is close to our hostel.

The balamjuyuc is a small hotel with an amazing view of the sea that offers 5 cabins and a small family restaurant with a garden of 200 tropical plants.
Built on the principles of ecotourism, our goal is to protect Nature, we try to use as much as possible solar energy (to lighten the inside of the cabin as well as the exterior). We share the toilets and bathroom in order not to waste water but to keep it for plants.

All bedrooms are built and decorated with natural material (bamboo), the roofs are made of palm for the coolness and the big windows are protected by mosquito nets that leave the breeze from sea come in.

This balance gives our visitors a feeling of total integration in the site in harmony with nature.

come you.

Located Near

Located in Southwest Mexico on the pacific coast 380 km south from Acapulco and 60 km north of Huatulco, we are at the crossing from turistic routes between Oaxaca and San Cristobal for all of those who wish to discover the Pacific.

Mazunte is a fishermen village dedicated to ecotourism. A short while ago its economy was based on the trade of turtle. Nowadays inhabitants protect the fauna and the flora of this little garden of Eden.

Thanks to laws on the protection of the environment and to local desire to protect this natural heritage, you can admire dolphins and sea turtles all year long and whales in winter. In the close lagoon youll see crocodiles in their natural habitat, iguanas and about a hundred different species of birds which come to spend winter in a warm spot. The climate is subtropical with a dry season from November to May and a light wet season from June to September. Temperatures are between 25 and 30 all year long.
Concerning activities in Nature, the Rinconcito beach is a quiet spot for swimming, protected from the pacific waves by the rocks on Punta Cometa.

For those who love waves and surf, youll find San Augustinillo beach five minutes away from Mazunte.
