About Flinders Station Backpackers
Flinders station backpackers can be found in Melbournes funky cafe and shopping district just a few minutes walk away from South Bank, Crown Casino and the MCG sports ground.
The hostel offers 4 bed dorms,twin, double and ensuite rooms. Breakfast is also included.
There is a self catering kitchen and café where you can catch up with old friends and swop stories with your fellow travellers after a busy day. Get the night off to a good start at The Joint, The hostel's bar and meet the stars of Neighbours free on charge.
There are also two TV rooms and Games are so that you will never run out of things to do.
There is a 24 hour reception where the staff will be happy to help organise any tours you wish to go on.
Left Luggage is provided along with security lockers to ensure valuables are kept safe at all time.

Got overcharged, rooms overbooked, 6 ppl sleeping in 4 bed room (staff didn't do anything). Horrible shower room with cockroaches and cold water. Lasse, from Finland ~ 3rd Nov 2009

For some reason a mistake was made, either by Hostels.com or by Flinders Station backpackers. Someone else had booked the double ensuite room I booked for 3 nights, meaning I could not stay there! The staff lady was very nice and gave me a discount on a Double room, but I had to use the shared bathroom - which freaked me out as it was not clean (toilets were not even flushed!), and I booked the room with an ensuite because I have a phobia about sharing bathrooms!
