Travellers Trax is located at The Barley Corn Hotel.

We are on the top of the city, a 15 minute tram ride from the CBD and a short 2 min walk from bustling Smith and Brunswick Streets, a must visit for anyone staying this side of the city.

Smith and Brunswick St are made up of some of the best clubs and night life that Melbourne has to offer, and through the day you will find the best bargains at the many thrift and second hand shops.

For a more cultured taste Smith Street is home to a famous collection of art galleries and more coffee shops than you could poke a biscuit at.

Travellers Trax has also just acquired the Barley Corn, a massive bar and restaurant directly underneath the Hostel. Long term accommodation: The Barley Corn is not our only venue; we also provide long term accommodation in rooming houses situated around Melbourne which we give first preference to guests who stay with us here at the Barley Corn.

Rooms vary from 4 person dorms, 6 person dorms and 8 person dorms.
We are also very accommodating so if you have any special requests please do not hesitate in letting us know.
Please come into the bar/reception to check in when you arrive.

Any late check-ins please call if the bar is closed, to gain access.
We are a late check-in hostel, so if you are arriving in the early hours of the morning we can cater for you. Please read our booking email for further details.

We have an entrance on the street side of the building, security is always a priority for us to ensure that our guests feel comfortable in their stay here with us so as such every guest is given a security code for the main entrance.
