we stayed 6 nights The first night there was a very loud party until all hours of the morning, and the rooms on the street are very loud. bring ear plugs. they had to move us to another room because they needed dorm space but gave us a better room on the inside which was quiet. the staff was very helpful and very nice. This is also a hotel in addition to a hostel. the location is in a very dirty part of the city without much to do but it is next to a metro station to get elsewhere

We dont recommend this hotel at all. Main 2 reasons are the extreme dirt everywhere and lack of facilities.

The location is very good. People are friendly and helpful Hotel. There is not much fun as a hostel but I recommend it to be in a clean place with comfortable and well located.

Seems to be a big hotel of yesteryears - had 6 floors and even an elevator operator. Room was clean and nice. Adjacent to metro station. Hostel offers to book taxi to airport for 140 pesos. Since our taxi didn't arrive even 15 minutes after the scheduled time, we went out and flagged a random taxi to the airport. It costed only 80 peso. So, keep timeliness and cost in mind while booking taxi.

We are on the 6th floor and in 5 days the lift has not worked, great after hoofing around sightseeing. No reduction or any concessions given for this major inconveinience.
