not a place to party, but perfect for those who want clean, safe, secure lodging that is quiet at night (too urban to be quiet in the day though) a nice longish walk to zocalo, short walk from coffee places on el paseo, a block from subway etc. also good showers--rare in budget places in mexico.

Bring along incecticide to kill the mosquitoes that wont let you sleep also there are bums in front of the hotel that are always drunk, shit on the floor and party all night long. Its great if you are on a tight budget, but be ready for a miserable experience.

If the place hadn't been clean and well-located, I would have had to have found some where else to stay after the first night. If you're looking to meet people, look elsewhere. This place is sparse, boring, and the the staff are unfriendly. They actually refuse to give you toilet paper except the allotted amount on Mondays/check-in.

I showed up on 8/1/08 for my weekend reservations and I found the place to be empty. they apparently moved out and did not leave any other address. building looked abandoned and in a bad area.
