The nearby Barrow River and Grand Canal add to the tranquility and beauty of the area. Its proximity to Dublin, just one hours drive away, makes it an ideal accommodation location when traveling to or from the city. The Airport and Ferry ports are also one hours drive away. The Curragh, Ireland's horse racing capital is 10km away, affording guests an opportunity to view training and sample the atmosphere of race day. |

From the North (Dublin/Kildare)
If traveling on the M7 motorway, they the exit for Monasterevin
As you enter the village of Monasterevin on the N7 Road, take the R417. The R417 is the first turn to the left after the 30 mph Speed Limit sign. Proceed along this road for approximatley 300 metres and take the first turn to the left. There is a signpost at the junction for Nurney. Cloncarlin House is located approximately 1.7 KM from the junction on the left hand side of the road. There is a sign at the road entrance, and the house is reached by travelling to the end of the avenue
From the South (Cork/Limerick/Portlaoise)
Pass through the village of Monasterevin on the N7 Road. As you leave the village a large stone wall is present on the right hand side of the road. Take the first turn to the right (R417, there is a signpost at the junction for Athy). Proceed along this road for approximatley 300 metres and take the first turn to the left. There is a signpost at the junction for Nurney. Cloncarlin House is located approximately 1.7 KM from the junction on the left hand side of the road. There is a sign at the road entrance, and the house is reached by travelling to the end of the avenue.
