Hostel Babilonia is situated in one of the most popular tourist areas and is centrally placed with easy access to transport, the beach, restaurants, shopping and green areas where the children can play and the adults can relax.
Ronel and Sonja Blignaut are the new owners. Originally from Cape Town, South Africa, they came to Uruguay in August 2016.

What we offer:
Two private bedrooms:
Private room 1: Separate private bathroom, king size bed, closet and desk.
Private room 2: Ensuite bathroom, AC, Cable TV, closet and desk. All linen included. Important to note; both private rooms are situated on the upper floor with two flights of stairs. This will allow you to have full privacy at all times.
We also have dorm rooms for six, four and two people sharing with bunk beds, bedside tables, computer desks, bedside cabinets with reading lamps and chairs. The bathrooms are shared with the rest of the guests. Our dorm rooms are comfortable and spacious.

• For other meals, you can also use the large fully equipped kitchen as well as the outside barbecue on a self-catering basis and enjoy your meal in the dining room which is equipped with a family size table and benches
• Our common areas feature a fully stocked reading corner as well as a games table with chairs where you can play games with the family
• WiFi is available in all common spaces
• Laundry services (personal items) but this can be arranged at an additional cost

From the ferry
Head South toward Calle Cerrito, turn left onto Sarandi and Hostel Babilonia is located on the corner of Colon and Sarandi
