Only problem (not the hostel's fault) was that the room was too hot, as other guests did not want ceiling fan on or windows wide open. Otherwise, very nice place, great breakfast. Should think of using re-usable glasses as styrofoam glasses and plastic knives are not ecological. It was my 2nd visit. Will certainly stay there again. Security: the front door was wide open all day. Anyone could get in, but room was unlocked and nothing disappeared. So I guess, still very safe.

Charming but not good for meeting new people and going out. Location between two main nightlife areas and cool new bike rental right outside (Bixi.ca) . PB&J, butter, toast and weak coffee served for breakfast. Charge to use comps, but free wifi!

It was a great place to stay, with a location close to several neighborhoods. Friendly staff and super clean room/bathrooms.

I stayed in 6 female room, and was pleasantly surprised how considerate other girls were to be quiet. Reading lights for every bed are nice, as well as the sink in the room. No complaints.
