Tequila Sunset is a contemporary, new hostel located in the heart of Morelia, Mexico charming historic downtown.

Tequila Sunset offers all of the regular services an international typical hostel provide such as dorm-style rooms, private rooms, complimentary breakfast, complimentary internet, common area, bike rental, kitchen and lockers. Tequila Sunset is located a very short distance from Madero Avenue, the main road that connects one end of historic Morelia to the other, and is just two blocks away from Jardin de las Rosas (Garden of Roses) famous for its cultural environment and artistic surroundings, as well as for its many coffee shops and galleries. Several events, like the International Film Festival, also take place in this area. Along Madero Avenue you will find the impressive Cathedral, an electric variety of restaurants, and retail shops where you can take in the local culture, or just enjoy walking around.

From Airport:

The best and easiest option for transportation to the hostel is via taxi. The airport is located 30 kilometers outside the city, and on average costs $150 pesos. We are near the corner of Leon Guzman and Santiago Tapia.
We can arrange transportation for you as well. Please contact us in advance, or email us your flight details and estimated arrival time.


From Bus Station:

Again, the best and easiest option is to take a taxi from just outside the bus station. It will cost about $50 pesos to get to Tequila Sunset Hostel. We are near the corner of Leon Guzman and Santiago Tapia. Two blocks away from Jardin de las Rosas(Garden of Roses).

Walking or driving from downtown Moreila

The Cathedral, located on Madero Avenue is the easiest point of reference, and we are only five blocks east. Ask for the Mercado de los Dulces (The Candy Market: great place to buy tasty candies and authentic souvenirs), as we are located two blocks away from The Candy Market and the movie theater on Santiago Tapia.
