Godzillas is Moscow's largest and best-known hostel. It was voted Best Hostel in Russia in 2013. We’re situated in a historical three-story pre-revolutionary building in the centre of Moscow; it’s a short walk from all the major tourist attractions (Kremlin, Pushkin Square, etc). The nearest Metro stations are Tsvetnoi Bulvar (three minutes away) and Tverskaya/Pushkinskaya (five minutes away). We have the widest selection of private rooms (twins and singles) and dorm rooms (four-bed to ten-bed rooms) in Moscow. Godzillas is Western-owned and -managed. All staff are multilingual and have extensive knowledge of Moscow and Russia. Taxi Pickup:
Godzillas can arrange airport and train station pick-ups. The cost for an airport pick-up is R2000. The cost for a train station pick-up is R1000.
Typical journey time to all airports is one hour. In peak times please allow for at least an extra 30 minutes. Train stations are a maximum 30 minute journey.
There are two main airports in Moscow (Sheremetovo & Domodedovo). Both are located about an hour out of the city. There is a third airport - Vnukovo used by some budget airlines.
There is no direct Metro link to any of the airports. All airports are connected to the centre by Aeroexpress Trains.
Sheremetovo Airport (SVO):
Sheremetovo (Sher-re-met-ye-vo) - Located in the north of the city and is the hub for all Aeroflot flights. A number of international airlines fly from here.
Aeroexpress - There is an express train to the centre of Moscow. It goes to Belorussky Train Station. The journey takes 50 minutes and the fare is R320. Trains leave every 30 minutes. Follow the signs for Aeroexpress in the airport.
From there you need to change to the Metro (Belorusskaya Metro Station).
Godzillas is three stops away on the Grey Line - Tsvetnoi Bulvar Metro station.
Our address is Bolshoi Karetnyy 6 ( Большой Каретный 6). The closest Metro is Tsvetnoi Bulvar (Цветной Бульвар) on the Grey Line - Line 9.
1. Inside the Metro station there are two exits. Take the main exit (выход в город).
2. Turn left outside the Metro station.
3. Turn left at corner of Metro building. By Megaphone shop (Мегафон) - green sign.
4. Follow the alley and then path up the hill. It goes on a way. This comes out onto Bolshoi Karetnyy (Большой Каретный). In front of you will be the Venezuelan Embassy (yellow blue red flag).
5. Turn left - we are in pink three-storey building 50 metres away (Bolshoi Karetnyy 6). The entrance is round the side. You will see the Godzillas sign.

Domodedovo Airport (DME):
Domodedovo (Dom-mo-de-do-vo) is located in the south of the city and is the hub for many international carriers (British Airways, Easyjet, Thai, El-Al, Emirates etc...).
Aeroexpress - There is an express train to the centre of Moscow. It goes to Paveletsky Train Station. The journey takes 50 minutes and the fare is R320. Trains leave every 30 minutes. Follow the signs for Aeroexpress in the airport.
The Aeroexpress station is located in the basement in the middle of Paveletsky Train Station. The Metro is also linked to the station.
To get to Godzillas from Paveletsky Station take the Metro Green Line to Tverskaya Metro Station (3 stops). Then transfer onto the Grey Line for one stop at Tsvetnoi Bulvar Metro.

Shuttle Buses - There are regular shuttle buses that run between Domodovskaya & Yugo-Zapadnaya Metro stations to Domodedovo Airport. This is the cheapest option but takes some time.
Vnukovo Airport (VKO):
Vnukovo (Vnu-ko-va) is located in the South West of the city and is mostly used by budget and charter airlines. German Wings flies here.

At Kievsky Station you need to leave the main station. The Vnukovo Aeroexpress Terminal entrance is around the corner on the left-hand side.
