Twiga Home is located in the Soweto Area of Moshi. To our guests, we offer a free shuttle service connecting Twiga Home and Moshi town centre. The trip takes 10 minutes. By bicycle it also takes 10 minutes and to walk around 30-40 minutes. A taxi from town centre to Twiga costs 3000-4000 Shilling (2 to 2.75 USD).
Most taxi drivers know Twiga Home. Sometimes however they confuse it with 'Twiga Bar' which is elsewhere. It might be wise to tell them that you mean Twiga Home in Soweta Area, near Moshi airport, behind the VETA offices. The old Moshi airport is not in use any more, so you don't have to be afraid of noise.
We can pick you up from Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO). Just let us know your flight details. A minibus which seats 1-7 passengers is 35 USD one way.
