Hotel Singhs is very close to the airport, so it's a good bet for a layover or if you just want to crash after your flight. It is adequately clean, and most of the staff (with a notable exception) are kind and welcoming. The hotel is not in a good location if you are hoping to explore downtown mumbai, as it takes over an hour to get there by taxi and the commuter trains are almost impossible to fit on during rush hour. Was not too impressed. My arranged taxi was quite late picking me up from the airport. I was charged $37 USD for the room and pick up which was well over the booked price for the room which came to $28 AUD. Michael, from Australia ~ 3rd Feb 2009
