Important: For a stay with us a Hostelling International Membership is required. International guests without membership pay a surcharge of 3,10 Euro for the first 6 nights to obtain a full membership for the use of more than 4.000 Youth Hostels worldwide. German residents can become a member of the German Youth Hostel Association for 12,50 Euro per year (older than 26 years and for families: 21,00 Euro) upon arrival. Prices apply to guests younger than 26 years. Guests older than 26 years pay a surcharge of 4,00 Euro per person and night . Whether you you live in Europe or come from Overseas, come and stay in our Youth Hostel. We are situated in the city, near the center in Neuhausen. Location of Munich-City Youth Hostel
Munich-City Youth Hostel is centrally located in the Neuhausen district, near Schloss Nymphenburg and the Olympic Park.
It takes about 5 minutes by subway (tube) to reach the main train station (Hauptbahnhof) and the Karlsplatz (Stachus) with the adjoined pedestrian area. Public transport brings you to every destination and landmark in the city fairly quickly.
From Airport
Take S-Bahn S1 or S8, direction 'Hauptbahnhof' - a 40 minutes ride.
Change at 'Hauptbahnhof' in subway (tube) U1 to 'Rotkreuzplatz' (4 minutes and the 3rd stop from main train station). Then 5 minutes walk to the youth hostel.
