In the city center area you will find some little cafs, restaurants and markets. The airport to make a flyover of the famous Nazca Lines is just a short taxi ride away. Apart from that famous attraction, which still leaves a lot of open questions, there are other places, which might leave a mark. The Chauchilla Cemetery just outside of the city is the only archaeological site in Peru, where you can find ancient mummies in their original graves, dated back to 1,000 A.D. The aqueducts of Nazca are a perfect example of the advanced culture having been able to create conservative systems. The Incas also have left their marks with their specific way of construction of walls and houses in the Nazca Region.
