For the Golf enthusiast, there are a multitude of golf courses within 45 minutes drive,with Nenagh’s 18 hole championship course a mere 6 miles away,where tee off times can be booked in advance. Historical sites such as the newly restored NenaghCastle Keep is now open to the Public and in the finest example of a round tower keep in Ireland. Birr Castle Demesne, King Johns' Castle, Limerick ,Bunratty Castle and Folk Park, Clonmacnoise Monastic Site, and the Bog Of Allen railway are all within 1 hour travel time.
