Boutique Social Accommodation in the Lower Garden Dist. We are located right off the St. Charles Avenue Streetcar. 24/7 access to the French Quarter, CBD, and Uptown. Opened in 2013.

The Auberge owners and staff are excited to meet you and help you have the best possible stay in New Orleans. We are located one block from the St. Charles Avenue Streetcar stop on Euterpe Street and St. Charles Avenue, at the edge of the Lower Garden District. We are in an amazing location. Within a 5 block radius you have access to over 31 restaurants and bars several of which are 24 hours. The St. Charles Avenue Streetcar line runs 24 hours and brings you directly to the French Quarter and Bourbon Street (a 10 minute ride) as well as the CBD's nightclubs, St. Charles Avenue also hosts the majority of Mardi Gras parades during our festival season. You can hear the parades from the hostel.

Directions to our hostel from the airport
The quickest way for two people or more is to take a taxi. The rate is $33 for 1-2 people and it goes up in price from there.

A little longer, but slightly more affordable way for a single person is to take the Airport Shuttle. This is $20 per person. Ask them to be dropped off at the Historic Streetcar Inn which is just around the block from us.

You can also take public transportation which involves the E2 bus, then the Canal Streetcar, then the St. Charles Streetcar. You will want to get off on Euterpe street. Ask the driver as there is no warning. This is not a good option for early morning or late departures and arrivals.

Directions from the Amtrak and Greyhound
Walk straight down Howard Ave. 4 blocks to Lee Circle and take a right on St. Charles Avenue. Walk 7 blocks to Euterpe and take a right. Walk one block to Carondelet and we will be on your right. Follow these directions rather than your phones directions for the safest most well lit path to our hostel.
