Historical, beautiful and affordable! This charming garden district gem is located on hip Magazine Street, just 25 minutes' walk from the Quarter.
We have 75 pretty private rooms with white wicker furnishings, handmade quilts and all bed types. All rooms have private bath, air conditioning and TV (with cable). There is free high speed wireless internet access, plus cable TV in the sitting room. Kitchen facilities are available, while a coffee shop is right next door. We have a restaurant on-site serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is a landscaped courtyard, swimming pool and wraparound balconies to complete our relaxing New Orleans ambiance. Free on-site parking is available and the internet can be accessed in the sitting room (common room) for those of you with laptops. We speak German and English. |

Prior to arrival, we will charge one night's deposit to your credit card, additional to the 10% charged by Hostelworld. This will be fully refunded if you cancel at least 24hrs prior to arrival. Cancellation and payment for special events: for Madri Gras, JazzFest, Superbowl 2013, play-off games, etc, cancellation must be made at least 30 days prior to arrival. From the airport you can take the airport shuttle ($10 per person, one way), or a taxi ($24 flat rate for one or two people).
If you're driving, directions to St. Vincent's (1507 Magazine Street) from the I-10 interstate from either east or west are:
1. Exit at Business 90 Westbank
2. Take Carondelet/St. Charles Ave exit and go straight
3. Turn right at Magazine Street
4. St. Vincent's is on the right hand side of Magazine Street and the corner of Race Street.
Catch the Magazine Street bus from Canal Street and get off at Race Street, or catch the St. Charles Ave street car and get off at Felicity Street (near Walgreens) and walk the four blocks across to Magazine Street and St. Vincent's.
