I didn't have any problems with security; however, I've heard that someone's personal belongings were stolen, which made me cautious. Some staff is nice and friendly, but others aren't.

its a great place to meet people but the hostel wasnt that great. the shower often ran out of hot water, the internet is not free, as it said in the website and the tax isnt included so its more expensive than it seems.

Aside from waiting for a good while for a shower to open up, my experience at this hostel was perfectly satisfactory. All I was looking for was a bed and a bathroom for an overnight stay and this place naturally met those needs. The showers were far better than I expected, to be honest, with a gigantic overhead showerhead. Might want to wear shower footies, though, as it is a communal bathroom and, well, you never know if the floor's truly clean. The stay reminded me of summer camp.

This was one of the best hostals I've ever stayed in! Super clean, safe and modern (4 flatscreens for movies and news in the lounge area and 10 computers for hire!). My only negative would have to be the location -- at 101st W it was a bit of a trek to get to if you're not familiar with the city, but once you get used to the subway system, it's a piece of cake to get to! Great time!!

Nice secure location close to the subway, clean and friendly staff. I recommend it.
