great place, the staff were super friendly and the hostel is one block from Penn Station....I felt very safe. Make sure to check out the Irish Pub across the way.....great night cap before you return to your bunk!

One strange thing - the dorms seem to attract a very male clientele - it's about an 80% to 20% ra

As there was no communal kitchen or lounge area - as a solo traveller, it became quite an isolating experience -however the location and cleanliness of the place exceeded all expectations - if you want to meet other solo travellers, then this place would be perfect during god weather as there is an outdoor rooftop garden area - (still no kitchen, therefore no saving money on breakfast!!)
