This is the perfect place for someone traveling to New York City to experience the city - not a hotel room. We had a tiny private room and were able to save money on the accommodations in order to do more in the city. We barely spent time in the room, except to sleep. But it was safe, in a very safe neighborhood (even late at night / early in the morning). Staff was friendly and helpful. It's a bit of a hike to Midtown, but only it's in between two subway stops, including one that's an express s Brandon, from USA ~ 18th Nov 2009
