I had a wonderful time at this Hostel! At first when I pulled up, I was a little thrown off by my initial impression of the location. But, after I got settled and explored the neighborhood a bit, I discovered the cute nearby coffee shops, an awesome Mediterranean restaurant, and it was extremely close to two subway stations! I loved the staff, the breakfast provided was pretty good, and the beds were comfy. The roof is a pretty cool place to get a view of brooklyn from, as well.
