We are centrally located 8-10 minutes walk from the town square.
the Igloo Annexe (private rooms) are quiet premises primarily suitable for families, couples and business travellers. Please respect that we do not cater for stag/hen and party groups. If you want to make a booking for a group larger than 5 people, please contact our reception team first.
Igloo is GREEN - we recycle, are energy and water aware and ALL our cleaning products, soaps etc are Eco-friendly.

Set up in 1994, the city center's hostel is still run by helpful and experienced backpackers and over the years we have welcomed close to 50.000 people from all over the world.
Located in an historic Victorian building, we are surrounded by shops, pubs, eat-ins and take-outs, sights and sounds plus food shopping including a 24 hour supermarket, Victoria market and Tesco within 1-5 min walk.
Our facilities include a large fully equipped kitchen with free tea and coffee, a social lounge with free internet and wi-fi in all rooms, T.V. and films, comfy beds with duvets, lockers in all rooms, laundry facilities and washrooms with 24 hour hot showers.
We also have a large social room with pool table, table tennis, games, music and sofas.
If you are on the tourism trail for a few days and nights, we have free maps so you can find your way around, as well as leaflets with information on all the sights. - We will also point you in the direction of a good pint and excellent grub.
If you are looking for a place to spend the Summer and get some cash together for some more travelling, we are always happy to help with information and guidance on finding work of which there is plenty up for grabs in Nottingham.
The city also offers lots of great live music, cultural events and of course Mr. Robin Hood (!!!)
Open all day all year until 3 a.m., the Igloo offers no chores or heavy rules - just a chance to meet some friendly people and get a good night's sleep at the end of an active day.

PLEASE NOTE: Maximum group size is 5 for online bookings. For groups bigger than 5, you must contact our reception team directly. Any online bookings made for more than 5 people will be considered invalid. Also… we are quiet premises suitable for the quiet traveller. We do not accept hen/stag or party groups in any of our properties.
Important Payment Info: For all bookings arriving on a Friday or Saturday night, full payment will be charged to the card the booking was made with up to 3 days prior to date of arrival (as this is the only way for us to make sure we are not holding a booking with an invalid card). There is currently no card fee when paying with a UK Debit Card, however we might have to start charging a small charge on payments made with a UK Debit Card at some point in the future. If paying with a Credit Card or a foreign Debit Card, there is a £1 charge on all payments under £40 and a 2.5% charge on all payments of £40 or more. Should you wish for payment to be charged to a different card or split payment over several different cards, then please be sure to contact our reception team with new card details on the number below at least 4 days prior to your arrival date. As a general rule, any booking that is for less than 4 nights and not arriving on a Friday or Saturday night will be ‘pay on arrival’, but we reserve the right to charge payment prior to arrival date – not being able to obtain payment might result in your booking being cancelled.
For any booking of 4 nights or more, a 50% deposit will be charged to the card the booking was made with.
A Â£20 key-deposit is required per set of keys upon arrival, which will be returned when checking out and returning keys. Photo-ID is also required from all guests when checking-in.
For all reservations of 4 nights or more, a 50% non-refundable deposit payment for the full stay will be charged upon booking.

NEW: For all of you carrying 'heavy houses' on your back there is a FREE city link bus which runs every 10 minutes from 07.00 - 19.00 from BROADMARSH bus station to VICTORIA bus station Mon - Sat - we are on the next corner.
Walk - From the bus or train staion head for Market Sq - from the T.I.C at Market Square, head for Clumber St and walk straight on for 10 - 12 min past the Victoria Shopping Centre to the Golden Fleece pub on your left.
We are directly opposite Plava Laguna Cafe and Sandwich Bar.
Our address is 100 Mansfield Road. Our front door is blue and the Igloo logo is on the right hand side.
Bus and Train Stations are 18-20 minutes by foot and easy to walk. However, if you have lots of luggage, you can catch a taxi from the Train Station (Station Street) in the evening or take the FREE city link bus from Broadmarsh Bus Station (1min by foot from the Train Station) to Victoria Centre Bus Station - we are on the next corner up the road - 1 min by foot. The FREE CITY LINK runs from 07.00 -19.00 Mon - Sat.
From the airport you should catch the Skylink bus to Friar Lane off Market Square. Diagonally cross over the Square and you will see the Information Centre. We are 10 minutes on foot from there (See directions above.)
