We are easy to find and centrally located in the \\\\\\\'Pearl of the Black Sea\\\\\\\', this fantastic port city of holiday, history, and cosmopolitan culture.

Located just opposite the main shopping boulevard of the city and next to one of the largest landmarks in the city, the Spaso-Preobrazhenskij cathedral on Sobornaya Square, the buses stop directly on the Square.

Opposite Sorbornaya Square is Deribasovskaya Street with its beautiful city gardens, restaurants, bars, and the Europa shopping mall, which in turn leads to the port, the funicular railway, the Opera House, and the famous Potemkin Stairs.

We have a bakery across the street, a 24 hour supermarket next door with Currency Exchange, banks, ATM\\\\\\\'s, cafés, bars, and restaurants all in our street, and the best sharma in Odessa just around the corner open 24 hours!

Our hostel consists of a large and airy 13 bed Dorm Room with a small private balcony overlooking the cobbled street;….another large 11 bed Dorm Room; and 2 Private Double Rooms;…there are free Security Lockers for every guest.....there is a Common Room with sofas, TV, and a Book-Swap Library;… 3 shower stalls, and 3 toilets;…a large dining/entertaining area;….and a fully equipped kitchen where guests can prepare their own food.

We have no Curfew or Lockout…Security coded entry means you can come and go as you please and your hosts live on site to deal immediately with your questions and needs.

We have free Security Lockers to secure your personal documents, valuables, i-pods, computers, or camera equipment.

There is a hostel computer with Skype, headphones, and a webcam for you to use or a free, fast WiFi internet connection if you have your own laptop/PDA.

42 KOBLEVSKA STREET
APT 4 (TOP FLOOR)

(Please note the street name can referred to as either Koblevska or Koblevskaya)

So we are on Koblevska Street near the Sobornaya Square.

There are two '42' signs.
Look for the white '42' sign and enter the door to the left of it which is a gold/brown colour…There is a Hostelworld decal on the door.

If the street door is closed, the security code for the door is:
(press 356 simultaneously and pull on the door)

DIRECTIONS:

The directions below should help you to get to the main square of Odessa- SOBORNAYA PLOSHCHAD, which is located right next to our hostel. Once you find yourself on Sobornaya Ploshchad please refer to the map given as one of the hostels images.

From the train station:

Most of the buses from the train station (the bus stop is next to McDonald's) head towards the city centre.
We advise you take bus #221 or #175 for the following reasons:

#175 has it's last stop at the 'Sobornaya Ploshchad' which makes it impossible to miss the actual stop where you should get off the bus.

#221 on the other hand, passes just next to our hostel so when you find yourself next to the huge church (on Sobornaya Ploshchad) just ask the driver to let you out on street where we are located (Koblevska Street)

From the Airport:

Bus #117 will take you directly to Sobornaya Ploshchad

*Majority of the buses will cost around 2 Hryvnia

** If you decide to take a TAXI please be aware of 'tourist prices'.
Acceptable prices are as follows:

From the train station:
30-40 Hryvna (3-4 Euro)
From the airport:
Taxis are extortionate from the airport
Be prepared to pay a minimum of 100 Hryvna, up to 150 Hryvna depending on the time of day.
