KAMP is a small guest house, a renovated old building located at alleyway of ‘Houkan-cho Shopping Arcade’, close to the west entrance of JR Okayama station. It is intended to be a casual spot for backpackers from around the world.

There are 3 types of guest rooms: mix dorm, female dorm and Japanese style private room for up to 2 people. All rooms provide free WiFi Internet connection.

Kitchen, showers and restrooms are shared. The shower room is open 24 hours. Rental towel is 300yen, or 500yen for sale. Washing machine is 100yen per use with detergent.

The Cafe&Lounge provides drinks and snacks, and also outdoor goods.

The guesthouse plans regular workshops, talk shows and many other events through out the year. It is a place for people to enjoy art and music, and treasure their encounter with other people who stay at the guesthouse.

Prices are per person per night.

Take the JR Tokaido Shinkansen from JR Shin-Osaka Sta. to JR Okayama Sta.. It takes about 1 hour.
Or take a regular train from JR Osaka Sta. to JR Himeiji Sta., and from JR Himeiji Sta. to JR Okayama Sta. It takes around 2 and a half hours.

From Tokyo area:
Take the JR Tokaido Shinkansen from JR Tokyo Sta. to JR Okayama Sta.. It takes about 3 and a half hours.
Or take a airplane from Haneda Airport to Okayama Airport, which takes about 1 hour 15 minutes. From Okayama Airport, take a bus to JR Okayama Sta.. The bus ride is about 30 minutes.

From Hiroshima area:
Take the JR Tokaido Shinkansen from JR Hiroshima Sta. to JR Okayama Sta.. It takes about 40 minutes.

From JR Okayama Sta.:
The guesthouse is 5 minutes walk from the station. Get out the west exit of the station, make a turn left to the entrance to the shopping district. Walk north for 130m down the street, pass a Seven-Eleven covinience store, and turn left and walk 220m west direction on Houkan-cho Street. Make a turn left again, and you will see the guesthouse on the right side of the street, next to a bakery store.


Exit to Okayama Station West Exit and turn left is the entrance to the shopping district and go 130m the streets of Seven-Eleven of before the bus terminal to the north.
Walk 220m the shopping district to the west, is the building of the wall of wood that is the second bakery in just around to the left.
