Mini-hotel Baikal is located in the heart of Lake Baikal on Olkhon island. Our hotel is just a 5 minute walk (150 meters) from the famous Burkhan Cape and it's beautiful sandy beach. Rest in the mini-hotel Baikal is allowed to combine comfortable rooms with the unique picture of Lake Baikal. We offer to our guests 18 rooms: standard rooms (shower cabin and toilet on the floor) and first class (shower cabin and toilet in the room) in the 3 story well-equipped mini-hotel. From the windows you can see the picturesque view of Baikal, sandy beach and coniferous forest. All rooms are made from the Siberian pine and you can breath by the smell of the needles and gummy. In the cozy cafe on the first floor you can have breakfast that is included in the price, extra payment is for dinner and supper. You can taste the unique dishes from the Baikal fish and dishes of Buriat's (local) and Russian cuisine. From the 1st February to the 30 Nobember a minibus departs from Irkutsk to Olkhon island from our office on Marata street 38, office 17. You can easily get there from the train station( the way takes about 15 minutes), it's 3 tram ( "Stepana Razina") stops from the Train Station towards the city centre . Then cross the tram-line, on the opposite site and walk about 200meters along Sverdlova street. Our building is on the corner Sverdlova and Marata street, Деловой центр Сибирь.The minibus departures at 10 a.m. and takes you directly to the hostel. You should book places by e-mail.The way takes 6 hours.
You can also go by public bus at 8a.m. from the central bus station in Irkutsk, the bus will take you to central stop in Khuzhir village. In village Khuzhir you should go along the central street Baikalskaya about 500m. and then turn on the left on Voroshilova street and go along about 500m in a direction to lake , mini-hotel is on the left side Улица Ворошилова, 36, мини-отель 'Байкал'
