Thunder Bay International Hostel in Thunder Bay, Canada

The hostel is 18 east of Thunder Bay 1 km the Mackenzie River and Lake Superior. I km south of 11-17 highway and Mackenzie Station Road. 1594 Lakeshore Drive. Hostel is in the wooded countryside in the Municipality of Shuniah, close to Thunder Bay. Tenting is offered.

Ask the Greyhound driver to let you off at or near the hostel. If coming by air, you may wish to rent a car from the airport. Thunder Bay is serviced by WestJet, (from Calgary, Toronto or Winnipeg) Air Canada (from Ottawa, Toronto or Winnipeg), Porter (from Toronto Island airport) and Delta (from Minneapolis).

Ontario has strict smoking regulations so we don't allow smoking except "outside".
Drinking should be discreet as we don't want noisy parties. We are not a "party" hostel.
