Mura del '500 offers its warm hospitality in a renewed room with private bathroom, for a single traveller. Recently restored with a particular attention to thermal and acoustic insulation, the room is on the ground floor, its windows overlook the garden. There’s a single bed, a large wardrobe, a table, some shelves and free wi-fi connection. There are a lot of books and depliants about Padua, its monuments and history, exhibitions and concerts up to date. The entrance is indipendent. The room is wide, but it’s intentionally for only one guest, for her/his best comfort.The bedroom communicates with the bathroom: it’s got a large window overlooking the garden. Recently rebuilt, it’s got a large shower with non-skid mosaic floor, hairdryer, shower gel and shampoo. Close to the bedroom, there’s a wide living room with two windowed walls overlooking the garden. With its sofa and chaise-longue it’s perfect for your relaxation. In the middle of the garden, hidden from sight behind bushes and trees, there’s a high magnolia. There are also a lot of colourful flowers. It’s perfect for relaxing or tanning. It’s possible also park the car, free. The whole house is surrounded by a wide public garden. “Mura del ‘500” is very close to the historical center of Padua and at the same time to the highways coming from Milan, Venice and Rome. Only a few meters and there’s a stop of several buses going to downtown, Sant’Antonio, the hospital, the fair and the thermal spa of Abano and Montegrotto. It’s very close also to Gran Teatro Geox (5 minutes by car) and stadio Euganeo (10 minutes). It’s also possible to rent a bike: it’s very cheap! Tha landlady, a journalist, can give you every information about monuments, exhibition and concerts. The wi-fi is free and very powerfull all over the house. In the bedroom and in the living room there’re a lot of catalogues, guides, films, cds, magazines and books.

Check-in time is from 2 pm to 7.30 pm, but itâ��s possible to get in ealier or later, it depends on the day and on an adequate advance notice (by e-mail). The entrance is completely indipendent: once youâ��ve got the keys, you can go in and out whenever you want. The rate includes, besides overnight stay and breakfast served to the room or the living room, wi-fi and private parking. It doesnâ��t include the tourist tax (1 euro per night, maximum for 5 nights). Washing machine, fridge, iron and ironing board are available with a little extra.

By train from the railway station:
take the bus n. 5 (and get off at Porta San Giovanni) or n .12 (and get off at Via Cernaia), ticket fare: 1,30 euros.
By car from the A4 motorway (Venice-Milan):
Padova Ovest exit, take the ring road towards Padua exit n.5 (S. Antonio)
From A13 motorway (Rome-Florence-Bologna):
take the Padova Sud exit, follow the ring road until exit n.5 and so on (see above)
Close to the Renaissance walls of Padua, "Mura del '500" is very close to the medieval heart of the town. Walking along via Euganea and via Vescovado you can see the famous ancient porticos and from San Giovanni bridge the tower of the Da Carrara castle. Five minutes on foot and you are in piazza Duomo and then in the other three medieval squares around Palazzo della Ragione. Close to the palace you find Sant'Antonio cathedral, Prato della Valle, the Botanical garden and the Scrovegni chapel.
