Following the same concept of his big brother in Santa Marta, The Dreamer on the beach will deliver you perfect peace with a lot of resting ares as well as great communal spaces. Our hostel includes 4 spacious dorms and 8 big private rooms, all with private terrace and bathrooms. Swimming pool surrounded by gardens with a huge variety of tropical plants, restaurant, bar and all the amenities you are looking for! *Internet wifi access usually available* Come to our hostel and just BE on the beach, just sit still and watch the waves come in, crash and roll out; watch the sun rise and set; look to the east and west and see little more than sand, sea, vegetation, blue sky, and the sun brightly scorching everything — a more perfect scene could not have been painted! By Bus:
Take a bus from the shopping center Buenavista in Santa Marta (Mamatoco area, just 2 blocks from The Dreamer Hostel), or everywhere on the Avenida Libertador or the Market, bus sign TAYRONA/ PALOMINO. 72 km, approx. 1.5 hrs. Cost 8.000 pesos. Once in Palomino main road you can walk (approx.20 min) to the beach called Donaires and you'll see us! Or you can take a Moto taxi for 2.000 pesos (guys wearing a red t-shirt)
By Air:
The easiest and closest option is to fly to Santa Marta where there are buses going to Palomino. Alternatively you can fly directly to either Barranquilla International Airport or Cartagena International Airport and from there get a bus or door-to-door service to Santa Marta from which you can take the bus/taxi to Palomino.

Our small paradise is easily accessible. Getting here is easy, we are only 1.5 hrs from Santa Marta, 2.5 hrs from Barranquilla and 4.5 hrs from Cartagena. We are 30 minutes drive from Tayrona National Park and 40 minutes from the desert of La Guajira and not far from Cabo de la Vela, home of the Wayuu tribe. Palomino is home to the Kogi and other indigenous tribes and their ancestral culture is very present in the area
