This recently renovated hotel is a great choice for backpackers.

We're near a direct metro to Eiffel Tower and Champs-Elysee. We offer private rooms with flat-screen TV, a safe, cheap bar prices and a shower and WC from €21 per person.

Our free extras include an internet cafe with hot drinks, Wi-Fi and a pool table, open 24hrs.

Each of our 61 ensuite smoking and non-smoking rooms provide excellent comfort. Bedding is equipped with soft duvets, fresh sheets and towels as well as toiletries are supplied in the private bathrooms.

Each room has a private safe large enough to take a laptop, a flat screen TV with international satellite television channels, a hairdryer and a phone. An iron is available on request. Wi-Fi is accessible throughout the hotel at no extra cost.

Relax and enjoy the leisure facilities of the Hotel Armstrong which include a 24h bar with alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, a private sauna, a pool table, a free Internet cafe and complimentary hot drinks (tea, coffee, hot chocolate) from midday until late. The private car park costs €14 per night. A copious cold buffet breakfast is served daily from 7am to 10am for only €8.

Check-in at 2pm or earlier when rooms are available. If for any reason you find that you will be arriving after 7pm then we would appreciate a phone call or a brief note informing us of this. Check-out: 12 noon. If you wish to make the most of your last day and travel in the evening, then we suggest that you check out in the morning and we can look after your luggage until later on in the day. Please note that breakfast is not included in the room rate.

The nearest metro station is Porte de Montreuil on line number 9. It's a two-minute walk from the Hotel Armstrong: go up the main avenue on the left-hand pavement, past the Brasserie Le Davout. You will find the hotel in the first road on your left.

Transport to the hotel from Charles de Gaulle, Orly and Paris-Beauvais airports: shuttle services are available at reasonable prices. Please email us after booking to make arrangements.

From the Gare du Nord Train Station ( Eurostar or Thalys):
Take metro line 5 in the direction of Place d'Italie and get off at Republique. Then take the metro line 9 in the direction of Mairie de Montreuil and get off at Porte de Montreuil. The hotel is just two minutes' walk from the Porte de Montreuil metro station.

By car:
1 - If you're approaching Paris by motorway from the north:
You should branch off the A1 just after the Charles de Gaulle airport and take the A3 motorway to Paris (it is indicated A3 Paris Est). When arriving at the outskirts of Paris take the ring-road going south (Pripherique - Sud) and take the first exit from the Pripherique called 'Pte de Montreuil'. You will climb up into a large roundabout and should take the exit indicating 'Pte. de Montreuil' on your right. To find the hotel from pte de Montreuil see below.

2 - If you're approaching Paris from the east (A4) or the south (A6):
You should take the ring-road either north (Priphrique - Nord) or east (Priphrique Est) and exit at 'Porte de Montreuil'. You will climb up onto a large roundabout and exit on your left where its indicated 'Pte. de Montreuil'.

From Pte de Montreuil :
Turn right at the McDonald's along the Boulevard Davout and then left at the first set of traffic lights. Turn left immediately after where there is another set of lights and you will find the Hotel Armstrong on your left.

Located Near

The Armstrong Hotel is located in a quiet side street near the lively Bastille area and is surrounded by typically Parisian cafes, restaurants, markets and shops. It has a direct metro to the Eiffel Tower, the Champs-Elyses and the Galeries Lafayette department store. It is also convenient for Disneyland and the Paris airports with a fast train service.
