World Star Hotel in Phnom Penh, Cambodia

The hotel looks nothing like the photos! There were many dead cockroaches in the hallway to the elevator. Our room was dingy, and there were bugs and mildew in the bathroom. The walls were thin, so we could hear people walking down the stairs by our room. The hotel boasts that it is within walking distance of Central Market, but when we talked to the staff, they told us it was way too far to walk. The palce is really a good palce to stay because it is located in the heart of the city. The receptionists are accommodating and very friendly. I would love to stay here again should I decide to travel to Cambodia again. Joseph Anthony, from Philippines ~ 1st Feb 2009
