Southern Fried Rice is a comfortable guesthouse in an attractive colonial building in Kata, arguably Phuket's most idyllic beach. We have a range of modern double, triple and 4-bed accommodation with shared or en-suite bathroom facilities available. Rooms feature air conditioning and ceiling fans, security lockers and wireless internet access. We are located just moments from the beach. Kata is a small, family-friendly resort, popular with sunbathers or surfers, depending on the season. It offers plenty of shops, restaurants and bars and a vibrant nightlife, although quieter than that of Patong Beach. Southern Fried Rice gives guests access to a number of activities and facilities, including Kata Day Spa, a pool table, a 42-inch plasma television with surround sound and a computerized sound system. We host the Phuket Chess Club and we are planning to introduce Thai language classes. We also hire out motorcycles for those wishing to explore Thailand's biggest island. |
