Globe Backpackers Plymouth is in the perfect position, both close to the sea, Harbour, city centre and all the travel links including the International Ferry Port.
A friendly hostel open all year round, we offer our customers a fun time in comfortable, clean surroundings, with a kitchen for guests use, a TV room and a social/dining room. There is also a back garden for the smokers and BBQ fanatics.
As the cheapest tourist accommodation in Plymouth, together with our facilities (including free wifi) we offer the best value to be had in the city.
We offer free WIFI, free tea/coffee, sugar, oil, salt etc in our fully equipped kitchen.
The hostel is a smoke free environment, but we have a back garden for the smokers amongst you and to enjoy the Plymouth weather.
Check-in times are between 3.30pm and 11pm, but arrangements can be made outside these hours - need to call us.
Full photo ID is required by all customers on arrival. There is a 48 hour cancellation policy - if you fail to show or cancel within 48 hours of arrival date, the first night WILL be taken.

From the train station walk up Salt Ash Road to North Croft roundabout. Turn right along Western Approach to Pavilions. Go past the Pavilions up The Crescent then turn right at the New Continental Hotel into Millbay Road. Walk past The Duke of Cornwall Hotel and turn left and walk up a short hill behind the Duke of Cornwall Hotel and we are on the right hand side.
Come out of the bus station and go past St Andrews Cross roundabout with the water fountain into Royal Parade. Follow Royal Parade until you come to the Theatre Royal on your left side, you are now at another roundabout called Derry's cross. Turn left at the Theatre Royal and you come to a street called Princess Way with the multi-storey car park on your left. Follow this street and you then come to Notte street, cross Notte Street and you will see a pub to your right called the Walrus. To the right of the Walrus there is a street called Athenaeum Street walk up this street
until you come to a junction. Turn right and we are 50 metres on the left hand side.
