The Hostel is part of a popular chain in Portugal: Youth Hostel, wich works lovely. Is a massive place, is like a Hotel, well cleaned, huge bathroons and nice beds. The breakfast provide (all the hostels members of the chain) is superb, you get every thing you need. The woman from the desk who works during the morning is very kind! Only problem is location: far way from the highpoints and old district. FAbio, from Brazil ~ 26th May 2009

this was a great place to stay although getting there seemed to be a small issue. bus nrs 500/504/204/207 all go there but stop in different places - ask for pasteleira/paulo gama or pousada juventude depending on the line. there were no secured lockers - but you could leave stuff at the front desk..not very reassuring. otherwise, i spent a nice, quiet night here and caught the sunrise with a refreshing morning stroll along the estuary the next day.
