El Petate Hostel is located in Santiago de Queretaro historic center, without a doubt it's a space with a privileged location by it's proximity to historic squares, museums and city touristic circuits that allows the travelers to easily get in contact with cultural and commercial life.

Being located in a historic pedestrian street, the nocturnal atmosphere it's more interesting and quiet for travelers when it's time to rest.

The house were the hostel is located, it's a colonial house, that by it's open architecture allows the spaces to be very pleasant and friendly.

Our main interest is the friendly coexistence between travelers and staff, offer the guest good information and resolve any doubt or give the help that any of our guest need while he is staying in our house.

Our rooms have been decorated by some of the artists that we have on the gallery, so the spaces are much more interesting and certainly unique. The artists are house friends, so there is always gonna be the chance you meet them.

Each bed has its own personal light, electrical connection and locker with key for the comfort of the guest. Although all our rooms are mixed, you can always ask for options for small groups.

You can check-in with us at any hour of the day, we are more than happy to welcome you at your arrival. We have free internet computers, TV. with DVD and cable. An spacious kitchen in where you can cook 24 hours a day. We don't have a laundry room inside the house, but we have a great price, fast and quality service if the guest needs it.

The easiest way to get there is by taxi.

Just say the driver to take you to the Rosalio Solano Theater, Jardin Guerrero square or Museo de la Ciudad and as soon as you get there you are a few steps away from the house.

The taxis in Queretaro are cheap, be sure you have lower denomination mexican pesos to pay the driver.
