I was mugged a block from Hostel Alcala, and upon returning there with torn clothing, all my money stolen, nobody at this establishment even cared. They asked for their money and told me check out was at 11am. Mariscal is dangerous, and I wouldn´t recommend staying there to anyone. Stick to Old Town, and don´t give these people any business. the price quoted on hostels.com was not the price we were asked to pay. apparently the price on hostels.com does not include taxes. In addition, the deposit we paid was not deducted from our account. Monique, from Australia ~ 10th Dec 2008
