Since 2002, Alex Rio Flats rent apartments and studios furnished and fully equipped (vacation rentals) close to the beach in Rio de Janeiro, especially in neighborhoods of Copacabana and Arpoador.
Studios: 1) Arpoador I (Rua Raul Pompeia 36, 4o floor, Arpoador, on the corner of Rua Joaquim Nabuco) This studio is in an excellent location: Arpoador District between Copacabana and Ipanema District. It's situated in a residential building in a street lined with trees, very close to Copacabana Beach (200m) and to Arpoador Beach (300m) and close to Ipanema Beach (500m). The studio has a small side view to the beach. The studio (35m²) is fully furnished and equipped: 01 double bed or 02 single beds (with covers for cushions & pillows, night sheets and towels for bathroom), 03 sofa beds (single), wardrobe, table & chairs, colour TV 14" with remote control, ceiling fan, refrigerator, electric stove, microwave oven and cooking facilities. The studio has a private bathroom with blindex showercabin and a private kitchen. 2) Posto Seis I (Rua Júlio de Castilhos 55, 5o floor, Copacabana - Posto 6, on the corner of Rua Raul Pompeia) This studio is in an excellent location: Copacabana - Posto 6. It's situated in a residential building in a street lined with trees, very close to Copacabana Beach (200m) and to Ipanema District (200m) and close to Ipanema Beach (500m). The building has 24-hours cover by door staff. The studio (30m²) is fully furnished and equipped: 01 double bed (with covers for cushions & pillows, night sheets and towels for bathroom), wardrobe, 2 sofa beds (single), table & chairs, colour TV 14', ceiling fan, refrigerator, gas stove and oven, microwave oven and cooking facilities. The studio has a private bathroom with blindex showercabin and a private kitchen. 3) Posto Seis II (Rua Raul Pompeia 201, 10o floor, Copacabana - Posto 6, between Rua Sousa Lima and Rua Francisco Sá) This studio is in an excellent location: Copacabana - Posto 6. It's situated in a residential building very close to Copacabana Beach (200m) and to Ipanema District (200m) and close to Ipanema Beach (700m). The building has 24-hours cover by door staff. The studio (30m²) is fully furnished and equipped: 02 single beds (with covers for cushions & pillows, night sheets and towels for bathroom), 01 single sofa bed, wardrobe, table & chairs, air conditioning (optional), ceiling fan, TV 20', frigobar, gas stove, mricrowave oven and cooking facilities. The studio has a private bathroom with shower and a private kitchen. |

All the apartments are located at Copacabana - Posto 6 and Arpoador close to Ipanema.
A taxi from the 'Rodoviária Novo Rio' bus station will cost approx. R$30- R$35;
From the Domestic airport (SDU) it will cost approx. R$30 - R$35;
From the International airport (GIG) it will cost approx. R$50- R$60. Take the yellow taxis (Aerotaxi or Aerocoop) with the best tariff. You can pay the tariff inside the Terminal 1 or 2 - Domestic arrivals.
It's allowed to charge R$1,70 per large luggage.
You can also take the 'Real' bus from the 'Rodoviária Novo Rio' bus station(R$6) or from the Domestic airport SDU (R$12) and from the International airport GIG (R$12).

All the apartments are located in a safe area, very close to the beaches: Copacabana, Arpoador and Ipanema and close to Ipanema metro station(subway/undeground). Close to the apartments you will find: internet-café, supermarkets, bakeries, laundry services, banks and exchange, juice-bars and restaurants.
