Good hostel with friendly staff but bathroom was on the damp side and the sewers caused it to smell a dair bit! We stayed for 4 nights and had to pay for fresh towels which was a bit stingy! carol, from England ~ 19th Oct 2009

Very pleased with our 5 night stay at Art Hostel Rio. The location was good, right next to the metro station and in a vibrant yet safe part of the city. The breakfast was very nice also. The staff however could have been a little more informed about all things Rio, sometimes when we asked them about how to get somewhere they were as clueless as we were, but they were still very friendly.
