Welcome to Bellas Artes Guest House!!! We are moving in Jun'13 for a brand new house! Is in Santa Teresa but is really close to the Gloria Metro station! We will have so many options for backpackers in Rio!!! If you are interested in a real way of enjoying Rio and our culture you must be our guest.Discrete and subtle, this beautiful 1930's house located in a bohemian neighborhood of Santa Teresa, offers a relaxing and cozy atmosphere. The clean and comfortable accommodations, private and shared rooms and the amazing Brazilian breakfast, make our visitors feel right at home. Information Guest House: •Rates must be paid at the check-in. •The breakfast is served between 8 am to 10 am, daily in our lounge. •The time of the air-conditioner from 11 pm to 9 am. •The Guest House recycles its waste; please use their bins for organic and recyclable. •It's not allowed smoke inside the house. •If you want/need to change to another bed/room, please come to front desk and ask us. Policies: •Check-in time: 1 pm •Check-out time: 11 am PS: It will be charged the value of half rate if check-in or check-out is made before or after this time. If the check-out is made after 7 pm it will be charged the full rate. •It will be charged $ 20 per lost key |

You should go to Gloria subway station. When you get there, enter in the Rua Benjamin Constant street, go ahead and turn left in Rua do Fialho street and then turn right on Rua Santa Cristina street. Straight ahead, you�ll see one staircase, that�s your street. (Yes, we are located in a staircase). Ask to stay in the 2nd kiosk of the street so you can go down the staircase. We are the blue house, No 15. Anyway if you need any help just call us. Our reception is 24h.
From International Airport: take a 20 minute taxi ride. It shouldn�t be over R$70.00 (about US$30.00).
From Nacional Santos Dumont Airport: it�s just a 5 minute taxi ride. It shouldn�t be over R$40.00 (about US$ 15.00)
From Rio Bus Terminal: catch the bus number 178 or 170, get off at Rua da Gloria by the Gloria subway station.
From Gloria Station: you can get to Copacabana and Ipanema beaches in just 15 minutes
