Staying at the Happy Rio Hostel in Rio de Janeiro was absolutely amazing! It is conveniently located in central Copacabana where all the action takes place, and not far from the beach. The owner (whom I consider a friend now) was always courteous, knowledeable, friendly and responsive to my needs. I highly recommend a stay at the Happy Rio Hostel, as I definitely plan to return when I visit Rio again. There is also 24-hour staff who is great as well. Free internet, tv & breakfast. Thanks, Al! Es un hostel muy nuevito, las instalaciones son impecables, no parece un hostel! Buen diseño, un plasma enorme, con sillones muy comodos para ver dvs o tv. Buen desayuno. El baño es minimo (el que me toco a mi) y la ubicación, es regular, si bien no me paso nada, mucha gente me advirtió que era una zona peligrosa de Copacabana. Clarisa, from Argentina ~ 8th Apr 2009
