Daphne Trevi is AT VIA DEGLI AVIGNONESI 20:
From Fiumicino airport: Take the train to Termini station. The trains run every half hour from Fiumicino, and costs 14 Euros. We can also arrange for private car service from or to the airport.
From Ciampino airport: Sit-bus runs buses between Ciampino and Termini train station, which leave regularly throughout the day, about one every half hour. See http://www.sitbusshuttle.it/ for more information. 6 Euros one way. Alternatively, take the Cotral bus service to Anagnina Metro station. The buses run about once every half hour. From there, take the Metro Line A all the way to the Barberini metro stop. We can also arrange for a private car service from or to the airport.
From Termini: Take the Metro line A towards Battistini. (Metro tickets cost 1.5 Euro, and can be purchased in Termini station at any of the tobacco shops or newspaper stands there. Try to get the tickets before you head down to the entry of the metro stop. There, you have to buy your tickets from a machine and it requires exact change, which can be frustrating.) Go two stops to Barberini. If you prefer to take a taxi from Termini, it will cost around 8-10 Euros. DO NOT ACCEPT A TAXI RIDE FROM ANYONE WHO APPROACHES YOU. These people will charge you from 20-40 Euros. Stand in the line and wait for an official metered taxi.
Getting to Daphne from the Barberini metro stop: When you come out of the turnstile, go left to exit the metro station. As you exit, you will see a movie theater on your left, and the piazza on your right. Walk down to the bottom of the plaza to via delle Quattro Fontane. Perpendicular to this street is via degli Avignonesi, which is directly in front of you and slightly on your left (it's a small cobblestone street.) Go about halfway down this street to number 20. Please note that we do not have any sign out front, nor do we have a street-front reception. You will need to look for our name on the doorbell list and ring that buzzer. There are three buzzers for Daphne, but please only ring the one on the bottom left hand side.
When taking the train, please note that we do not have a 24-hour reception (7am-9pm), and need to know your arrival time. If you change to a later or even earlier train time than the one originally given, please just give us a call and let us know so that we know to be there to greet you for your arrival.
We are located just off Piazza Barberini, about one minute's walk from the Barberini metro stop, and 5 minutes' walk from the Trevi Fountain, via Veneto and the Spanish Steps. The Pantheon and Piazza Navona are about 15 minutes' walk away, and Campo dei Fiori and Trastevere, about 30 minutes' walk. The Vatican is 4 metro stops, about 10 minutes away.
