Mao Dupla Hostel is adjoining the Mao Dupla restaurant in the Pelourinho neighborhood of Salvador Bahia's Centro Historico (historical district). This area is known as Salvador's cultural and entertainment center. The hostel houses 20 people in four 'kitchenette' apartments and one dormitory. Mao Dupla Hostel is centrally located in the Centro Historico of Salvador with easy access to the principal points of the city. If you have to cancel your booking, you must do it at least 48hrs before arrival. Check in: 14:00 Check out: 12:00 Depending of the period of your booking you will be charged 50% in advance in order to secure your booking (non refundable), you may be contacted by the property requesting the CVV code of the credit card used for this booking or asked for a deposit. This also applies if your booking is during a national holiday, New Year´s eve or Carnival. |

1--Minimum stay 6 nights (Carnaval 2013= Feb7 thru Feb 13)
2--A 50% prepayment of the room rent less the deposit you have already paid through Hostelworld.
3--The prepayment is non refundable so please reserve only if you are serious about joining us for Carnaval.

From the bus station (Rodoviaria)
It is easy to take a taxi if you choose to.
If not then cross the expressway on the pedestrian bridge and walk to the front of the Iguatemi Shopping Center.
Take a municipal bus to the Praça de Se and stay on the bus until the end of the line.
Once there take a right onto Rua Chile,
walk past the Lacerda elevator by one block,
then cross the praça there (Praça de Se) to the side of the large church(cathedral) on the other end
enter into the larger parça to the right (Praça Terreirio de Jesus).
Take Rua Laranjeiras from the praça and walk 3 blocks until Rua Santa Isabel.
Take a right and then check in at the Restaurante Mao Dupls on the right side of the street.

Mao Dupla Hostel is centrally located in the Centro Historico of Salvador with easy access to the principal points of the city. In this neighborhood of Pelourinho there are museums, and historic churches. Also there are restaurants, and bars where the local music can be heard. It is an easy walk to the lower city and the port where you can catch a boat to Morro de Sao Paulo or the islands of the bay.
