My stay was pretty awesome. This place was as close to a hotel as you can get without having to pay for it. Excellent service. Amazing location. I was never too far from anything I wanted to do.

The rooms were better than I expected for the price I paid for them; however mine didn't have a TV or a fridge as advertised, but that was ok since I didn't really need either of them. Housekeeping comes too early at about 9AM each day, which didn't provide for the best sleep at times. The biggest downside was having to pay about $6/day for internet. Overall though, my stay was pretty decent.

It was ok. The staff must be friendly. That´s it. Thanks.

It's like a cross between a hostel and a hotel. The staff was very professional and helpful like a nice hotel. I had a private room since I needed to get some work done, so I didn't really meet anyone. The hostel itself was quiet but the street was a little noisy and the windows let a lot of noise in. So if you are a light sleeper maybe ask for a room higher up so you will be farther from the street. The twin bed was pretty comfortable but the pillow wasn't. If you have means to bring your own p

Comfortable and clean. San Diego's attractions are widely spread out (each is about a $25 fare from this place), but the hostel is within walking from the main party district (gaslamp), and is close to the freeway exit for quick escapes and returns to the beaches and balboa park. For a cheap bed in the middle of town this place is great. Service was helpful and professional. Note: I missed this in the conditions; there is a $125 returned deposit to be paid on arrival.
