The Banana Bungalow San Diego is San Diego's only 'beachfront' hostel. Located in Pacific Beach, the Bungalow is perfectly situated for those looking to sample the fabled San Diego lifestyle. Take advantage of our swimming pool, the largest in the world, for snorkeling, scuba diving, and of course surfing. Rollerblade, skate, bike or stroll along the boardwalk. Find everything from budget grub to high-end cuisine among Pacific Beach's 150 restaurants, not to mention the myriad of clubs and bars that make this the nightlife destination for San Diego. Other area attractions include Sea World, the San Diego Zoo, Belmont Park and Black's Nude Beach, all easily accessible from the Banana Bungalow.

If staying in is more your style, you'll find plenty to do here. The Bungalow features a kitchen, pantry, common room with cable TV, movies, internet, and most famously, 'The Deck.' On the deck you'll have the opportunity for sunbathing, keg stands and possibly even catch sight of the elusive 'Firey Phoenix'. Best of all is the chance to meet students and travellers from all over the world. Enjoy our FREE BBQ nights and FREE Sunsets!
