The only complaint I had was about parking, there is a public lot right below the hostel, so you have to pay every day, and night. Overall it is clean enough and in a decent location; most things I did during my stay were only a short bus/bart ride away. Caitlin, from USA ~ 16th Nov 2009

Price,communal shower, and location are the best attributes of this place. Otherwise it is a dump. You will be neighbors with crackheads and questionable hobos. Our room did not have hot water, the sink was clogged, and there were bugs everywhere, even in the "clean" provided towels! It is a very old ran-down smelly and dirty place. Since you need to pass through several metal doors and one person on watch I think its pretty safe. Location is really nice too if you're planning to cruise the Sergei, from USA ~ 13th Oct 2009
