Hostelling International's San Francisco Downtown Hostel offers quality accommodation at an affordable price. Located at the heart of the tourist district, we are just minutes away from Union Square, Chinatown and the SoMa area, and we are surrounded by clubs, restaurants, shops, bars, theatres and galleries.

As well as private rooms we have small dormitories with a maximum of four beds per room. Lockers, linen and towels are provided and many rooms are equipped with en-suite bathrooms.

Facilities at the hostel include a kitchen, laundry, a media room, satellite television and free internet access. A continental breakfast is included in the rates and we organise regular activities such as pub crawls, walking tours and day trips to Napa Wine Country and Yosemite Valley.

We are a Hostelling International property; non-members are required to pay a surcharge at check-in.
